Growing appetites: meal plans for 9-11 month olds

By 9 months, your baby can handle thicker textures, small soft pieces, and more variety. This is the time to introduce finger foods and let them practice self-feeding. Meals become more structured — 3 meals plus 1-2 snacks alongside breastmilk.

Do and don't

Do

  • Don't give choking hazards (whole grapes, nuts, popcorn)
  • Don't leave baby alone while eating
